European CME accreditation
Movement Disorders Today 2026 has been submitted to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for accreditation. The number of European CME credits (ECMEC®s) awarded will be published on this page as soon as the accreditation decision is issued. For reference, the previous edition of the conference was accredited with 7.0 ECMEC®s across its two days.
Once accreditation is granted, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association. Information on the conversion process can be found at edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications.
Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
